Job Title: Process Engineer

Location: Wellingborough, Northamptonshire

Salary: £35,(Apply online only) - £40,(Apply online only) per annum (dependent on experience, pro-rata for 6 months)

Contract: 6-month fixed term

Interaction Technical have partnered with a well-established, market-leading firm based in Wellingborough on their search for an experienced Process Documentation Writer to join their team. Our client has been established for over 60 years and is renowned for their commitment to quality and innovation in manufacturing. This role is crucial in ensuring our processes are well-documented and continuously improved.

25 days holiday + bank holidays (pro-rata for 6 months).
Annual bonus scheme - up to 10% (based on company and personal performance, pro-rata for 6 months).

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, write, and maintain comprehensive process documentation for various manufacturing operations.
Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality assurance teams to gather necessary information and ensure accuracy.
Create clear and concise standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and process flow diagrams.
Review and update existing documentation to reflect current practices and standards.
Ensure all documentation complies with industry regulations and company policies.
Assist in training staff on new and updated processes.
Conduct regular audits of documentation to ensure consistency and compliance.
Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying areas for process optimization and documentation enhancement.
Requirements:

Proven experience in technical writing, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and quality standards.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
High level of attention to detail to ensure accuracy and consistency in documentation.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in using documentation software and tools (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat).
Understanding of industry regulations and standards related to manufacturing processes and documentation.
