Process Engineer - Nuclear Projects
Location: Warrington (3 days onsite per week)
Contract Length: 52 weeks
Rate: £40-£50 per hour (Umbrella, Inside IR35)
Clearance Requirement: Must be eligible for SC clearance

Are you an early-to-mid career Process Engineer looking to work on large-scale, high-impact nuclear projects? We're recruiting on behalf of a major organisation in the nuclear sector, currently seeking a Process Engineer to join their expanding team.

The Opportunity:

As part of a highly skilled nuclear engineering team, you'll be involved in delivering process design and technical solutions throughout the full project lifecycle-from concept through to commissioning and decommissioning. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your expertise within a growing portfolio of clean energy and defence-related projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Apply relevant codes, standards, and engineering principles to technical deliverables
Produce calculations, analyses, design documentation, drawings, and technical reports
Support and supervise designers in the creation of models and drawings
Contribute to technical specifications and provide support through all phases of the project
Carry out design risk assessments and prepare for HAZOP and hazard identification studies
Review design changes and assess technical queries and concessions
Ensure design intent is maintained through effective quality planning and verificationWhat We're Looking For:

Essential:

Degree-qualified in Engineering or a relevant scientific discipline
Strong analytical and documentation skills
Some experience in process design within a high-hazard or regulated industry
Effective team player with good communication and stakeholder engagement skillsBackground:
