The role:

Our client is seeking a proactive Process Engineer to join their Operations team in Cheltenham. In this permanent role, you'll drive optimisation across manufacturing processes, focusing on quality, efficiency and continuous improvement. You'll play a key part in introducing new products and processes while reducing waste and supporting high-performance manufacturing.

Key responsibilities:

Support daily process engineering across the whole team
Apply standardised tools like PFMEA, Control Plans, VSM, SPC and SOPs
Analyse process data to identify improvements and cost-saving opportunities
Drive process control, flow efficiency and waste reduction
Lead or support new product/process introductions
Collaborate cross-functionally on lean initiatives and troubleshooting
Support audits, KPI reporting and annual improvement planningAbout you:

Significant process engineering experience in a complex manufacturing setting
Skilled in lean tools such as Yamazumi, Time-Study (MOST), VSM, SPC
Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills
Able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Methodical, detail-oriented and self-motivated
Experience with APQP tools (PPAP, PFMEA, etc.), Lean manufacturing techniques (5S, SMED, etc.) and project management toolsThe company:
