Process Engineer

Location: Poole
Salary: £35-40k
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday - permanent

TeamJobs are working with a well-established manufacturer in Poole seeking a Process Development Engineer to join their team. This hands-on role will focus on continuous improvement across manufacturing processes, driving productivity and quality enhancements.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead process improvement initiatives to reduce waste and improve overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).

Optimise and document production processes, ensuring robust control plans are followed.

Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and support systematic troubleshooting on the shop floor.

Train and coach production teams on best practices and standard operating procedures.

Develop and validate new processes for equipment, tooling, and materials.

Analyse performance data, recommending and implementing improvements.

Lead or participate in CI projects using lean and Six Sigma methodologies.

About You:

Degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Chemical)

Experience with Lean, Kaizen, and Six Sigma.

Strong communicator with excellent problem-solving skills.

Confident leading meetings and driving action plans.
