Job Title: Manufacturing Technician
Location: Pulborough, West Sussex
Salary: £Competitive, Apply for Details
Contract: Full-Time, Permanant
Hours: Monday to Friday(standard day shift)
A new opportunity has opened for a skilled Manufacturing Technician to join a growing high-tech engineering company supplying global OEMs in the medical, semiconductor, scientific and industrial sectors.
This hands-on role involves the build, assembly, and testing of electro-mechanical systems, including sub-assemblies and final units. Working from drawings and BOMs, you’ll play a key part in ensuring quality production standards are maintained while supporting continuous improvement efforts across the production line.
The ideal Manufacturing Technician will be experienced in soldering, electro-mechanical build, and have a solid understanding of quality and safety in a high-voltage manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities – Manufacturing Technician

  • Assemble electro-mechanical sub-assemblies, printed circuit boards and full products to BOMs and engineering drawings.
  • Clean and package finished goods using COSHH substances and appropriate PPE.
  • Raise and document non-conformance and rework records where required.
  • Monitor and replenish stock levels using Kanban systems and follow stores requisition procedures.
  • Work within ISO9001 and ISO14001 standards, supporting cleanroom practices and ESD compliance.
  • Actively participate in lean initiatives to reduce waste and improve build efficiency.
  • Maintain an organised, safe, and efficient work environment.
    Requirements - Manufacturing Technician
  • Previous experience in electro-mechanical assembly, ideally in a high-tech or regulated environment.
  • Strong soldering skills and familiarity with ESD handling protocols.
  • Ability to read and work from BOMs and detailed technical drawings.
  • Understanding of high-voltage component safety and mechanical build processes.
  • Proactive team player with good attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working in a structured environment focused on continuous improvement.
