Electrical Maintenance Technician required – permanent opportunity with great prospects at a large heavy process engineering manufacturing site in north Birmingham. Monday to Friday day shift.
This is a permanent position offering a great salary, relocation package, associated benefits to include pension, generous bonus, overtime, and working 38.75 hours per week, 7.00-3.30 Mon-Friday, with flexibility as required (call outs). 25 days holiday + B/H
The Electrical Maintenance Engineer will be part of a maintenance team that works together as a flexible, competent and multi-skilled unit. Using a hands-on approach to electrical breakdowns and preventative maintenance issues across the site.
Electrical Maintenance Engineer Requirements:

  • Apprentice trained with minimum ONC Electrical – or equivalent
  • Substantial Electrical experience gained from heavy industry
  • Understanding of 3 phase control systems
  • Drives / Inverters
  • PLC Fault finding and problem diagnosis (Not programming)
  • Isolation procedures (electrical and mechanical)
    This role requires a more than average amount of solo working therefore adaptability and accountability are essential skills required.
