Maintenance Engineer

Newark-on-Trent

£45,000 - £50,000 Basic + Overtime + OEM Training + Progression + Mon - Friday + 8 hour shifts

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a mechanically biased Maintenance Engineer to join a long standing, specialist manufacturer known for its quality, stability, and growth. This role offers excellent variety, recognition, and responsibility within a tight knit engineering team with plenty of overtime available to boost your earnings. You'll also benefit from hands-on training, support from the Factory Manager, and the chance to develop your skill set across both day to day maintenance and continuous improvement projects.

This small, family run business has been a pioneer in its sector for over two decades and operates dedicated manufacturing sites across the UK, including this key facility in Newark. As a Maintenance Engineer, you'll be a vital part of the team ensuring minimal downtime, maintaining critical equipment, and supporting ongoing investment into machinery and operations. There is also a genuine long term opportunity to grow with the business as they continue to invest in people, processes, and plant.

Your role as a Maintenance Engineer will include:

  • Mechanically biassed work
  • PPM, Reactive Breakdowns & Project Work
  • Mon - Fri 8:30 - 5
  • Commutable to Newark on trent

    The successful Maintenance Engineer will have:
  • Mechanically biassed skill set including fitting, welding & fabricating
  • Basic electrical skills
  • Manufacturing or similar experience & background
  • Time Served - qualifications
