Are you a passionate Senior Analogue IC Design Engineer looking to take ownership of exciting new projects in the semiconductor industry? This is a fantastic opportunity to join an innovative business at the forefront of analogue and mixed-signal IC design, working on cutting-edge sub-6G communication products.

Based in Essex, with hybrid working available, you’ll be part of a collaborative New Product Engineering team, contributing to the design, implementation, and verification of complete sub-systems used in next-generation technology.

The Role

As a Senior Analogue IC Design Engineer, you will:

  • Design and develop analogue and mixed-signal blocks such as filters, multiplexer circuits, bias circuits, bandgap references, PLLs, and more.

  • Work with advanced technologies including CMOS and SiGe to deliver high-performance solutions.

  • Collaborate closely with multi-site test and engineering teams to support product evaluation and ASIC characterisation.

  • Produce clear technical documentation and contribute to best practice in design for manufacture.

  • Play an active role in innovation, bringing new ideas and approaches to support future product development.

    What We’re Looking For

  • Strong background in analogue IC design, with knowledge of concepts such as linearity, noise, stability, and mismatch.

  • Hands-on experience using Cadence Virtuoso design tools.

  • Knowledge of IC layout techniques and ESD protection methods.

  • An open, collaborative mindset with excellent communication skills.

  • A genuine passion for technology and innovation.

    Why Apply?

  • Opportunity to work on cutting-edge analogue and mixed-signal IC design projects.

  • Hybrid working with an office base in Essex.

  • Be part of a supportive and forward-thinking team where creativity and innovation are encouraged.

  • Join a company that values trust, respect, commitment, and creativity at the heart of everything they do.

If you’re an experienced Senior Analogue IC Design Engineer ready to take on a new challenge in Essex, we’d love to hear from you

Where to Advertise Semiconductor Jobs in the UK (2026 Guide)

Where to advertise semiconductor jobs UK in 2026: the specialist boards, academic channels and community routes that actually reach IC, fab and EDA talent. The candidate pool is one of the smallest and most specialised in any engineering discipline — spanning IC design engineers, process engineers, fab technicians, EDA tool developers, compound semiconductor physicists and power electronics specialists. General job boards are largely ineffective for semiconductor hiring. The community is tight-knit, highly academic in its roots and concentrated around a small number of university groups, fab facilities and design centres. Specialist boards, academic channels and direct community engagement are the primary sourcing strategies that work. This guide, published by SemiconductorJobs.co.uk, covers where to advertise semiconductor roles in the UK in 2026, how the main platforms compare, what employers should expect to pay, and what the data says about hiring across different role types.
