R&D Electrical Engineer – Electronics Manufacturing

East Kilbride, Full-Time Permanent Salaried role – Excellent Basic plus Bens package

Our client is seeking an R&D Electrical Engineer to join their dynamic engineering team focused on innovation, testing, and product development. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong practical electronics knowledge and a passion for cutting-edge technology.

Key Responsibilities:

Support electrical and electronic product development activities

Work with PCB layout and schematic design

Conduct testing using a wide range of bench equipment

Collaborate with engineering teams on development projects

Assist with signal integrity and high-speed RF testing activities Requirements:

Minimum HND in Electrical Engineering or Electronics

Hands-on experience with laboratory/bench equipment

Knowledge of PCB layout and schematic design

Strong communication and presentation skills Desirable Skills:

Semiconductor or ATE testing experience

3D printing and prototyping experience

Experience using PCB design software (Cadence Allegro or equivalent)

Transferable engineering or manufacturing industry experience

Python or Visual Basic programming skills On-the-job training provided in:

Signal integrity testing
