Are you an experienced Electrical Test Engineer looking to take your skills to the next level in a high-tech, fast-paced environment? This is your chance to join a growing team at the forefront of innovation in semiconductor and micro/nano-structure technology.

We're working with a leading engineering company based near Bristol that delivers precision tools and systems used in everything from quantum computing and medical diagnostics to electric vehicles. Due to sustained growth, they are looking to bring four new Test Engineers on board to support the testing and delivery of complex, cutting-edge products.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Conduct functional testing on high-tech systems, ensuring full compliance with detailed test procedures.

  • Own your product throughout the test phase, proactively resolving technical issues and faults.

  • Support continuous improvement and fault analysis initiatives to enhance product quality.

  • Accurately capture data, report issues (FRACAS), and work closely with engineering and production teams.

  • Participate in pre-acceptance visits and, on occasion, travel to customer sites for system commissioning.

  • Champion 5S and contribute to safety, quality, and cleanliness across the test department.

    What We’re Looking For:

  • Time-served Electrical apprenticeship or qualifications such as City & Guilds Level 3, HNC, HND, or BTech in Electrical Engineering.

  • Strong hands-on testing and fault-finding experience to component level.

  • Proven ability to follow technical procedures and maintain documentation to high standards.

  • A team player with excellent communication skills and a proactive, problem-solving mindset.

  • Comfortable working on a rotating shift pattern and open to occasional travel when required.

    What’s In It For You:

  • £33,000 – £39,000 base + 20% shift allowance

  • Total package: £39,600 – £46,800
