A new Senior Transport Planner position is now available in Manchester City Centre with one of the most established Transport Planning teams in the North. This role offers tax free bonuses, a competitive salary and 4 holiday homes that you can use for free!

You will be taking the responsibility for producing Transport Statements, Travel Plans, Junction Models and much more surrounding a varied project portfolio.

These include, large residential developments, data centres, sustainable energy infrastructure, industrial complexes and Premier League Football Stadia!

Senior Transport Planner Responsibilities will include:

Prepare Transport Statements and Assessments, Travel Plans, and transport chapters of Environmental Statements.
Take a leading role on various projects with the support of junior members of the team
Be present at meetings with clients, planners, architects, and contractors.
Produce Junction models using Junctions10
Provide technical support and training to Transport Planners and Graduates.Senior Transport Planner Requirements:

Hold a relevant degree (or equivalent) and be actively working towards a professional qualification i.e. Chartered Status with the CIHT.
Have significant experience as a Transport planner working on development schemes.
Be comfortable managing multiple client expectations and contributing to project meetings.
Be numerate, able to analyse datasets and use junction modelling software such as Junctions10 and LinSig.
Have an appreciation of current design standards, be able to lead design reviews and undertake basic design work using AutoCADIf interested in this position, but would like to find out more before formally applying, please contact Taylor Smith at Calibre Search Manchester.
