Senior System Engineer with strong FPGA design, development and testing skills is sought on a hybrid basis by a multi award winning international engineering firm based near Gloucester.

With over 15 years of R&D and innovation in their field this Senior System engineer will be joining a multi-disciplinary research and development team working to create cutting edge solutions positively impacting thousands of lives on an annual basis.

This Senior System Engineer would be working closely with a friendly, welcoming team with extensive one on one training and a clear progression path into a lead engineering position in the near future.

This role would suit an engineer with at least 5 years commercial FPGA and RF signal processing experience ideally gained in a high level engineering or R&D environment with a solid foundation in end to end system design and implementation and agile development lifecycle.

In return this Senior System engineer can expect a high level of autonomy and the chance to help shape the output of cutting edge technology.

This Senior System Engineer based near Gloucester should have most of the following:

  • Extensive experience with FPGA design and development
  • RF signal processing understanding
  • testing across hardware, software and FPGA domains
  • end to end system design and implementation experience
  • Solid agile development experience
  • A real passion for learning new technologies and working in a R&D driven environment with strong communication skills

    This Senior System Engineer based near Gloucester will receive:

  • Salary of up to £75,000
  • Hybrid, flexible working (2 days a week in the office)
