Job Description:

We’re seeking an experienced Senior Process Engineer to support our client's growing electronics business. As a Senior Process Engineer, you will play a key role in developing and refining processes that support both new product introductions and the continued production of high-reliability electronics. This is a hands-on role ideal for candidates with a background in die bond and wire bond processes.

Key responsibilities of the Senior Process Engineer include:

  • Developing and improving manufacturing processes to boost yield and efficiency.

  • Leading continuous improvement initiatives and capital equipment projects.

  • Creating and updating technical documentation including PFMEAs and SOPs.

  • Providing technical support and mentoring to junior engineers.

  • Supporting production by resolving technical issues quickly and effectively.

  • Collaborating with customers, suppliers, and cross-functional teams.

  • Staying up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends.

    This role offers the opportunity to work across the entire product lifecycle and occasionally travel internationally for supplier or customer visits.

    Skills & Experience:

    Required:

  • Degree or HNC in an engineering discipline or equivalent experience.

  • Proven experience with die bonding and wire bonding in microelectronics or hybrid manufacturing.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Detail-oriented with excellent planning and troubleshooting abilities.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

    Desirable:

  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing and statistical process control.

  • Familiarity with military standards and high-reliability design.

  • Experience with CAD tools for electronic or mechanical design.
