A global medical device company are looking for a Senior Process Engineer to join their Process Development team on a contract basis. You will lead the development, optimisation, and scaling of electrical test systems to support both prototype and production phases. This includes building new test systems from the ground up, enhancing existing systems, and ensuring they are robust, maintainable, and production-ready. You'll be responsible for integrating hardware, software, and automation elements, driving root cause analysis, and supporting the transfer of test systems into manufacturing. You'll also update existing systems based on LabVIEW test requirements and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure test strategies align with product and regulatory needs.

Essential skills:

Extensive experience controlling equipment using LabVIEW
Demonstrated capability in test system development, debugging, and test duration planning
Solid understanding of electrical/electronics and PCBA
Experience in process development for test systems, including design-for-test, system integration, and scalability planning
Ability to lead root cause analysis, validation, and continuous improvement initiatives
Experience supporting pre-production and production test environments
Strong documentation and communication skills, with experience in cross-functional collaborationThe start date is ASAP. The initial contract is for 12 months, with multiple extension options. The role is based in County Tipperary and will require 2-3 days onsite per week, with the rest remote. The rate is €55-70 per hour, depending on experience.
