Job Description:

We’re seeking a Senior Electronic Design Engineer to join an experienced engineering team, where you’ll focus on the design and development of power modules using silver sintering processes. This role is a unique opportunity to work across all phases of the New Product Introduction (NPI) lifecycle—from concept and development to production handover.

The Senior Design Electronic Engineer will report directly to the Engineering Manager and support both R&D initiatives and production projects. Your work will also include electrical, thermal, and mechanical design, as well as creating technical documentation and cost analyses.

You'll engage closely with internal stakeholders including sales, manufacturing, and quality teams, and may occasionally travel to customers or suppliers as needed.

Skills & Experience:

To excel as a Senior Electronic Design Engineer, you’ll need:

  • Proven experience designing power modules

  • Expertise in high-reliability applications (aerospace or similar)

  • Proficiency in CAD (electrical/mechanical) and design simulations

  • Understanding of SiC, GaN, and traditional silicon technologies

  • Experience with semiconductor packaging materials

  • Competence in Design of Experiments, 8D problem solving, and data analysis

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Strong project planning and documentation abilities

    Desirable:

  • Degree or HND/HNC in Engineering

  • Experience in electronics manufacturing environments

  • Knowledge of lean and statistical process control techniques

  • Familiarity with military and high-reliability standards
