I am partnered with a major Contractor who are seeking a career driven QS to join them as they go through a significant period of growth. They are a true market leader in their field, working on high end projects in the utilities, critical infrastructure and process engineering sectors.

So what makes the role so special..?

The business are on an exceptional period of growth and have just created a brand-new Quantity Surveyor position that comes with guaranteed development and progression into Snr Qs and then commercial management in the next 2 years. Key duties will include;

Provide pre and post commercial advice/ support to the operational teams
Support the operational teams in providing a customer focused service and attaining the highest standards of operational delivery to maximise projects profitability and minimise risk
Support the projects by providing advice and feedback in the promotion of best commercial practice throughout the company
Support the bidding process commercially
Ensure that subcontract orders are professional, accurate, comprehensive and issued prior to commencement on site
Support the Operation Teams in the development and updates of the Cost Value Reconciliations (CVRs)

You will need...

Minimum 2 years experience in Quantity surveyor role, ideally within Construction/ Civil/ Maintenance sectors
Strong numerical skills
Career drive and an eagerness to develop yourself
Familiarity with contract management, ideally JCT or NEC contracts.
