Project Engineer – Spider is advertising on behalf of a global leading post-harvest solutions provider, who are looking for a Project Engineer to join their team based in Snetterton, Norfolk working on impactful projects across the UK, Ireland and Scandinavia in full time, permanent position.

This is a great role for a passionate Mechanical Engineer who thrives on managing every detail from innovative design and precise installation to smooth handover.

About the Role:

As a Project Engineer, you will be an integral part of their project teams, driving the successful execution of engineering projects from inception to completion. You will collaborate closely with various stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and fellow engineers, to ensure that projects meet specifications, timelines, and budget constraints.

Main duties and responsibilities include:

Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, resources, and documentation.
Perform engineering analysis and design calculations to support project goals.
Communicate progress, gather feedback, and address risks with stakeholders and team members.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and contribute to a collaborative, success-driven team culture.

About you:

As the successful Project Engineer, you will have a mechanical engineering background (essential) and proven track record of working in a similar role, working in a fast-paced environment.  You will have strong computer skills, including proficiency in 3D modelling, using software such as Autodesk Inventor.  Exceptional numeracy and data analysis skills are also essential.  You will be a passionate team player who thrives in collaborative environments. Your engineering expertise is complemented by your strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with diverse individuals. You enjoy tackling challenges head-on and are always looking for innovative solutions.
