The Opportunity

We're looking for a proactive and experienced Process Engineer to help improve, optimise, and innovate manufacturing processes. This role will span both traditional automotive production and cutting-edge EV technologies, covering mechanical systems, automation, batch, and chemical processes.

You'll play a key role in scaling up production, introducing new equipment, and driving continuous improvement across the business.

What You'll Be Doing

Develop, configure, and optimise manufacturing processes from concept through to certification

Analyse production data to identify and deliver improvement opportunities

Design, run, and upgrade mechanical, automated, and chemical/batch systems

Lead process development for specialist EV components

Commission new capital equipment and handover to production teams

Produce clear process documentation and work instructions

Use structured problem-solving methods (DMAIC, 5 Whys, Fishbone) to address efficiency and quality issues

Drive improvements in OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness)

Maintain strong Health & Safety and 5S standards across operations

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Quality, Production, and Design Engineering

What We're Looking For

Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical, or Process Engineering (or equivalent)

Proven process/production/industrial engineering experience in manufacturing

Strong background in mechanical systems, automation, and continuous improvement

Exposure to chemical handling and batch production (desirable)

Automotive industry experience (essential); EV or printed circuit manufacturing a plus

Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and quality improvement tools

Skilled at interpreting technical drawings and process data

Hands-on, solutions-focused, and thrives under pressure

Strong communication skills and team mindset
