It will be a hybrid role, but initially on site at Pirbright.

Process Engineer - Aseptic Design (3-4 days)
We are seeking a Process Engineer with expert knowledge of ASME BPE standards to lead the design and implementation of aseptic processing systems. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in hygienic design, cleanroom layouts, and CIP/SIP systems, with a background in biopharmaceutical or vaccine manufacturing. This role involves supporting design reviews, risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with GMP and contamination control requirements.

Process Engineer - Functional Safety (1 day)
This role requires a Process Engineer with deep expertise in ISA 61511 and functional safety systems. The successful candidate will lead SIL assessments, develop Safety Requirement Specifications, and support the full safety lifecycle of Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS). Experience with HAZOP, LOPA, and risk analysis in pharmaceutical or high-containment environments is essential, along with a strong understanding of process safety standards and regulatory compliance.
