Job Title: Process Engineer

Location: Manchester

Our client is looking for a Process Engineer to join their team up in Manchester. As a Process Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in driving the optimisation and improvement of manufacturing operations and enhancing process efficiency, ensuring high-quality performance, and reducing waste across the production value stream. 

Key Responsibilities - Process Engineer

Optimise manufacturing processes using tools like Value Stream Mapping, SPC, and PFMEA to improve efficiency and quality
Develop and maintain detailed production process maps and Standard Operating Instructions for all processes
Monitor and analyse process data to identify improvement opportunities and implement solutions
Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering to enhance operational performance and resolve process issues
Support the introduction of new products and processes with standardised methodologies
Qualifications & Requirements - Process Engineer

Significant experience in process engineering within a complex manufacturing environment or equivalent technical expertise
Proficiency in process engineering tools such as Yamazumi, Time-study (MOST), SPC, or comparable methodologies
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to address complex process challenges
Effective communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration
Knowledge of process safety, risk assessment, and compliance with regulatory standards or equivalent qualifications
