About the Role

Join my client's innovative manufacturing team to design, develop, and implement cutting-edge applications using low-code platforms like Tulip. This role focuses on optimising and automating business processes to enhance operational efficiency in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop manufacturing applications using low-code platforms with minimal traditional coding.

  • Analyse and optimise internal business processes to drive automation and efficiency.

  • Implement business logic and requirements using visual tools, including form builders, pre-built templates, drag-and-drop interfaces, and entity builders.

  • Build smart, efficient technology solutions using Tulip, delivering results faster than traditional software engineering.

  • Apply User Experience (UX) principles to create intuitive workflows for shopfloor teams.

  • Support the end-to-end solution delivery lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment.

  • Collaborate with the Electronics Value Stream (EVS) team and cell leaders to develop Tulip applications.

  • Work with IT to define and progress hardware installations for application integration.

  • Provide monthly progress and risk reports to stakeholders.

    Essential Skills & Experience

  • Strong understanding of data models, including creation and evolution to support operational and analytical reporting.

  • Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles and a commitment to continuous improvement.

  • Proficiency in Python and JavaScript for scripting.

  • Basic knowledge of REST and SOAP API integrations.

  • Proven experience in process engineering or similar roles.

  • Ability to collaborate proactively with cross-functional teams, including Value Stream, engineering, and IT.

  • Excellent communication skills and an approachable, team-oriented mindset.

  • A proactive, hands-on attitude with a focus on leading by example.

    Desirable Skills

  • Experience or training in Tulip or similar low-code platforms.
