Metallurgical Process Engineer
 
The Opportunity:

If you are a seasoned Process Engineer with experience of working within a metallurgical environment, this role would suit you perfectly.  This Process Engineer role is varied, interesting, and working within a progressive and fast paced environment.  So your assessment of processes and suggestions for improvement will be fully relied upon to make things even better!

Job Responsibilities:

Responsible for qualification and delivery of robust, metallurgically sound processes, to meet customer specified requirements.
Review metallurgical related product design for compliance with engineering principles, company standards and customer contract requirements and related specifications.
Co-ordinate activities concerned with technical developments, scheduling and resolving engineering metallurgical issues.
Review and approve customer specifications in regard to metallurgical requirements.
Continuous improvement and maintaining metallurgical processes, troubleshoot manufacturing problems and root cause analysis, and reviewing cost reduction through process improvements.
Interaction with customers to understand technical requirements and resolve issues.Requirements:

4 years of applicable Process Engineering experience and knowledge of Multi-discipline Engineering fundamentals
Degree/HNC or equivalent in Engineering discipline
Tooling design and/or CAD experience 
Knowledge of Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing and ABS
Computer literate (MS Office, MS Project, MRP systems)
Good statistical understanding (SPC/Process Capability/Gauge R+R)Pay and Benefits:
8am-4pm Monday to Friday
25 days annual holiday
