Salary: Circa £50,000 to £70,000 pa (plus 10% annual bonus)
Location: Based out of Brinsworth.
Hours: Day work Mon to Fri

A world-leading industrial gases and engineering company require a Leading Electrical Engineer. The successful candidate will ideally have HV experience (large motors (synchronous), Transformers, HV switchgear, cable systems etc). Whilst the role is based out of Brinsworth my client would also consider applicants near any of their large facilities.
Duties
• Provide technical guidance and support on a wide range of equipment, including power distribution, rotating machinery, & a vast array of electrical control equipment
• Provide technical leadership and support to operations and projects across the UK & Ireland, helping the business to achieve its strategic goals and objectives
• Provide electrical engineering leadership to operations, including supporting the Engineering Management of Change (EMOC) process and overseeing asset repairs and replacements
• You will have responsibility for the electrical engineering deliverables on complex multi-discipline projects or managing the delivery of more complex single discipline projects, helping to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, while ensuring equipment is fit for purpose and meets all relevant internal and external standards and legislation
• Provide technical authority guidance and support and take ownership of several internal standards
Requirements
• Qualified Electrical engineering or a similar subject (or equivalent experience)
• Assert management skill set to support, reliability rather than simply Project Engineers, but both skill sets ideally.
• Significant working experience circa 7+ years, providing Engineering support to operations and/or projects in the process industry, working with electrical systems and equipment
• Chartered Engineer with the IET is ideal or working towards it however we would consider equivalent experience
• You have excellent communication & influencing skills to interact with people, to understand, influence and support others
• Work to the values aligned to being a safe and inclusive work environment
• There would be some travel around our UK as required.
