ARC Commercial Recruitment is proud to be partnering with a pioneering semiconductor manufacturer based in East Anglia , seeking an experienced Import/Export Specialist to join their expanding team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in ensuring the seamless international movement of high-value technology products.

The Opportunity

As the Import/Export Specialist, you will be integral to the company’s global supply chain, overseeing the import and export of critical semiconductor components. You’ll ensure all shipments are fully compliant with UK and international regulations, while optimising logistics and supporting business growth.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee end-to-end import and export operations for semiconductor products.

Prepare, review, and manage all shipping and customs documentation.

Liaise with customs authorities, freight forwarders, and internal teams.

Ensure compliance with UK and international trade laws, including export controls and sanctions.

Maintain accurate records for audits and regulatory reporting.

Troubleshoot customs or shipping issues and proactively resolve delays.

Support procurement, production, and sales teams with logistics expertise.

About You

Proven experience in import/export or logistics, ideally within the technology or semiconductor sector.

In-depth knowledge of customs regulations, international trade compliance, and export controls.

Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.

Strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.

Proficient in ERP and logistics management systems (SAP experience a plus).

Analytical thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Eager to stay updated with evolving industry regulations.
