Are you an experienced Electronics Engineer based near Livingston, Scotland? We have a fantastic opportunity for a talented engineer to develop innovative products across industries such as Smart Metering, Oil & Gas, Life Sciences, and Medical.
As an Electronics Engineer based in Livingston, you will play a key role in designing and developing electronic systems from concept to production. You will work closely with customers, solving complex technical challenges and bringing ideas to life. This role offers variety, technical challenges, and the chance to work on a broad range of exciting projects.
What you’ll be doing as an Electronics Engineer in Livingston:


  • Designing digital and analogue electronic systems, including schematic capture, PCB design, and simulation

  • Developing FPGA-based designs using VHDL and/or Verilog

  • Working with microcontroller-based systems and a range of communication protocols such as RS232, USB, SPI, I2C, CAN, and Ethernet

  • Investigating, developing, and implementing new technologies, components, and design techniques

  • Working closely with customers to understand their requirements and deliver technical solutions

  • Creating customer-ready documentation and reports to support project development

What we’re looking for:


  • 5+ years of experience in developing electronic systems

  • Strong skills in digital hardware design, schematic capture, PCB layout, and circuit simulation

  • Experience designing with microcontrollers and FPGAs using VHDL and/or Verilog

  • A passion for problem-solving in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with both customers and internal teams

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering or a related subject
