Our client, a leading provider in the water sector, is currently seeking a Civil Design Engineer to join their team. This role focuses on clean water infrastructure projects for major clients. The position is a long-term contract, offering remote working with occasional site or office visits.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver clean water infrastructure designs, including pipelines, pumping stations, and treatment works.
Develop concept, outline, and detailed designs for both infrastructure and non-infrastructure assets.
Conduct hydraulic analysis, pipeline design, and route selection to optimise water networks.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including mechanical, electrical, and process engineers.
Ensure compliance with industry standards (WIS, DCG, British Standards) and water company specifications.
Support feasibility studies, optioneering, and risk assessments.
Engage with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies.

Key Requirements:

Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
Experience in clean water design within the UK water sector.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroDrainage, InfoWorks WS Pro, or similar software.
Understanding of UK water regulations, CDM 2015, and asset management principles.
Strong communication skills for stakeholder engagement.
