Benefits

Strong benefits package

We’re supporting an engineering-led manufacturer as they build a talent pool for experienced Senior Electronics Design Engineers to support future growth within R&D.

This role would suit someone with a background in digital electronics, PCB design, EMC and wireless / communications / RF, ideally gained within consumer electronics or similarly complex product environments.

We’d be keen to hear from engineers with experience in some of the following:

  • Digital and high-speed electronics design
  • PCB design and schematic capture (Altium beneficial)
  • EMC / ESD and compliance-led design
  • Wireless, RF or communications products
  • DSP, FPGA, microprocessors or integrated digital systems
  • Prototyping, debugging and lab-based testing
  • Design for manufacture and component selection

You’ll work across the full product lifecycle — concept through to production — collaborating closely with software, mechanical and test teams on sophisticated, high-performance products.

About you:

  • Degree qualified in Electronics Engineering (or similar)
  • Several years’ commercial design experience (not suited to graduate/junior level)
  • Hands-on, collaborative and technically curious
  • Comfortable contributing in a fast-paced R&D environment

Package:

  • Salary up to £65,000 dependent on experience
  • Strong benefits package
  • Opportunity to join a respected engineering environment with exciting growth plans

If you have a background in digital electronics, PCB, EMC or RF, I’d be keen to speak.

Where to Advertise Semiconductor Jobs in the UK (2026 Guide)

Where to advertise semiconductor jobs UK in 2026: the specialist boards, academic channels and community routes that actually reach IC, fab and EDA talent. The candidate pool is one of the smallest and most specialised in any engineering discipline — spanning IC design engineers, process engineers, fab technicians, EDA tool developers, compound semiconductor physicists and power electronics specialists. General job boards are largely ineffective for semiconductor hiring. The community is tight-knit, highly academic in its roots and concentrated around a small number of university groups, fab facilities and design centres. Specialist boards, academic channels and direct community engagement are the primary sourcing strategies that work. This guide, published by SemiconductorJobs.co.uk, covers where to advertise semiconductor roles in the UK in 2026, how the main platforms compare, what employers should expect to pay, and what the data says about hiring across different role types.
