What You’ll Do
Process Support & Optimisation

  • Assist in mapping, documenting, and analysing financial workflows (e.g., account onboarding, trade execution, reporting).
  • Support senior engineers in implementing improvements to reduce inefficiencies and errors.
  • Contribute to automation initiatives by building scripts, bots, or workflow tools.

Programming & Automation

  • Write basic scripts (Python, SQL, JavaScript) to clean, transform, and automate data processing.
  • Support integration of APIs and automation tools.
  • Help build monitoring dashboards and alerts for critical process pipelines.

AI & Data Pipelines

  • Work with data engineers and analysts to understand and maintain data pipelines feeding business‑critical processes.
  • Support experiments with AI/ML models for process automation (customer support chatbots, fraud detection, anomaly monitoring).
  • Document and test pipeline improvements to ensure reliability and accuracy.

Collaboration & Learning

  • Work closely with product, operations, and compliance teams to understand requirements and deliver process improvements.
  • Learn fintech‑specific regulatory requirements (AML/KYC, GDPR, MiFID II) and how they shape operational workflows.
  • Participate in cross‑team projects, contributing with data, automation, and testing support.

What You Need To Have

  • Basic programming skills (Python, SQL, or similar).
  • Interest in data engineering concepts (ETL pipelines, APIs, cloud data platforms).
  • Familiarity with AI/ML tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving mindset.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Curiosity about fintech, financial markets, and automation.
  • Ability to document processes clearly and work in a structured way.
