Altera Recruitment Group is partnering with a well capitalised organisation operating within the renewable energy sector to appoint a Process Engineer.

This position focuses on supporting the development, optimisation and delivery of large scale anaerobic digestion assets. The role will suit a proactive Process Engineer who is motivated to take ownership, contribute to high value infrastructure projects and grow within a technically driven team working on some of the most significant facilities in the UK.

Key Responsibilities Process Engineer

* Support the design, optimisation and operational performance of anaerobic digestion facilities across multiple projects

* Collaborate with engineering and finance stakeholders to ensure effective project delivery and technical alignment

* Assist with process testing, performance monitoring and data analysis to drive continuous improvement

* Contribute to construction, commissioning and start up activities for new infrastructure developments

* Strengthen internal engineering capability through technical input, documentation and best practice development

Candidate Requirements

* Degree qualified in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering or a related discipline

* Experience within process engineering, ideally within renewable energy, waste to energy or similar sectors

* Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret operational data and improve performance

* Self motivated individual with the confidence to take initiative and work within a high performing team

* Willingness to work on demanding projects with a strong commitment to professional growth and development

What’s on Offer

* Competitive salary in the region of £45,000 to £55,000 depending on experience

* Significant annual bonus potential typically ranging between 40% and 60%
