The Job People are currently looking for a Process Engineer for our manufacturing client based in Erdington.

The chooses candidate must have previous experience working to targets within a manufacturing/production industry.

Details of a Process Engineer based in Erdington:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekly Rotating shifts - 6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm, 10pm-6am
  • Paying between £18.51 - £21.29 per hour
  • Overtime available
  • Long term opportunity

As a Process Engineer you will have the below experience:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing processes and quality control systems.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, Minitab, statistical software).
  • Familiarity with manufacturing methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen.
  • Proven experience in process engineering or a similar role (typically 2-5 years).

As a Process Engineer based in Erdington you will be required but not limited to the below:

  • Create process flow diagrams, control plans, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Analyse current processes to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements.
  • Implement process changes to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
  • Collect, analyse, and interpret process data to monitor performance.
  • Use statistical methods and software tools to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Investigate process-related issues and develop solutions to resolve them.
  • Ensure that processes meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Communicate process changes and improvements effectively to stakeholders.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement necessary safety measures in processes.
  • Conduct process validation and verification activities.
