Our client, a renowned company in the Defence & Security sector, is seeking a highly skilled Process Engineer to join their team on a contract basis in Glascoed. This role involves critical tasks associated with manufacturing processes within the defence industry. As a Process Engineer, you will contribute to the development and optimisation of manufacturing systems and processes, ensuring efficiency and quality in all activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Developing and optimising manufacturing processes in alignment with industry standards and regulations
Analysing process data to identify areas for improvement and implementing solutions
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure process integration and alignment with project goals
Conducting risk assessments and troubleshooting issues to minimise production downtime
Providing technical support and expertise to the manufacturing team
Ensuring compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations
Documenting procedures, process changes, and performance results
Participating in Continuous Improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and quality

Job Requirements:

Experience in process engineering within a manufacturing environment
Strong understanding of process optimisation and improvement methodologies
Proficiency in analysing process data and metrics
Ability to work on-site for three days a week and remotely one day a week
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Security Clearance (SC) or eligibility to obtain it
Effective communication and teamwork skills
Relevant engineering degree or equivalent qualification

Contract Details:

12-month contract with the possibility of extension
Three days on-site work, one day from home (Fridays off)
Immediate start date
Team size: 7-10 members
