Alexander Steele is working exclusively with a global food manufacturing business to recruit a Process Engineer for their site in Hertfordshire. The successful candidate will play an integral part of the engineering team, this is a multifaceted role encompasses R&D, engineering, technical, and production support.

What’s on Offer:

* Paying circa £50,000

* 31 days holiday

* 5% pension

* Monday – Friday (days)

Responsibilities:

* Lead efforts to enhance process and product quality through continuous improvement.

* Use Lean Six Sigma and other methodologies for continuous improvement.

* Develop preventive maintenance plans in collaboration with the maintenance department and production team leaders.

* Contribute to major Capex projects

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements that enhance efficiency, safety, and product quality.

Background Experience:

* 3+ years of experience in a similar role within a food manufacturing or processing environment.

* Degree in Food Science/Food Processing or Engineering

* Lean Six Sigma manufacturing certification

* Excellent ability to communicate with stakeholders across various levels.

* Strong organisational skills and an exceptional attention to detail
