Are you a Metallurgist or Mechanical Engineer with an interest in Motorsport or similar, looking for an entry-level role within a market-leading company who work for a range of elite motorsport teams on a variety of interesting projects and offer full training from the ground up?

Do you want specialist training within heat treatment processes, allowing you to become an expert within a niche and technical area of metallurgical engineering?

With some professional experience, you will support the development of heat treatment metallurgy for the next generation of Formula 1 cars and other single-seat category vehicles. You will be shadowing a senior Metallurgist who specializes in this niche field, you will have a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable skills, which will allow you to develop as a Metallurgist / Engineer.

This company is a widely recognized supplier to the top F1 teams in the motorsport sector. The company is an expanding player in the industry, and they are in a great position for further expansion.

This position would suit a Metallurgist or Mechanical Engineer who is looking to become a technical expert within a Process Engineering or Metallurgy with a company who offer unrivalled training and opportunities for long term progression.

DUTIES

  • Shadowing Senior Metallurgist, working on heat treatment services

  • Quality Process and Leak Detections

  • Stress relieving and Solution Aging

  • Monday to Friday (8AM - 5:30PM)

    PERSON

  • Degree in Metallurgy or Mechanical Engineering

  • Looking for a Metallurgist or Process Engineering role

  • Keen interest in Motorsport

  • Commutable to Bletchley
