Salary: Up to £44,000 + 7.5% company bonus

Location: Bristol (Hybrid)

The role

As a Mechanical Engineer, you will deliver high-quality mechanical engineering across innovative semiconductor equipment projects. You’ll take ownership of technical delivery, support product development, and help drive projects from concept through to production.

What you’ll be doing

• Deliver mechanical engineering expertise across systems, subsystems and new technologies

• Support multiple projects, ensuring delivery to time, cost, quality and specification

• Apply best practice engineering and drive continuous improvement

• Ensure strong technical governance across safety, compliance and reliability

• Coordinate and support work packages across cross-functional teams

• Help projects move smoothly through milestones to production

What we’re looking for

• Engineering degree (or equivalent experience)

• Strong understanding of design for manufacture, assembly, cost and maintainability

• Experience in mechanical design within an engineering or manufacturing environment

• Proactive mindset with a focus on development and improvement

• Exposure to regulated industries and safety/compliance standards (desirable)

• Knowledge of tools such as HAZOP, FMEA, LOPA (desirable)

• Working towards professional accreditation (desirable)
