Are you an Electronics Engineer from a Digital Circuit Design background, looking for a highly autonomous position where you will be responsible for leading complex projects from cradle-to-grave?

Do you have ambition to continue your technical development within a business that will invest in your training, passing down knowledge in FPGA and RF Design?

In this position you will be working in the Defence sector, designing cutting edge positioning and navigation technology. This will involve digital and analogue circuit design and verification working within the Hardware team. This is a senior position that will involve developing the junior members of the team and is a great chance to further develop your knowledge and progress your career in the future.

Right on the doorstep of the outstandingly beautiful Lake District and Yorkshire Dales, this company was established over three decades ago and has built a strong, long-lasting foundation in a niche and profitable industry. They supply positioning, navigation and timing technology across the Defence, Aerospace, Marine, Automotive and Security industries and are known for solving complex issues within satellite communication.

This role would suit an Electronics Design Engineer looking for a step up into a more responsible role that also allows for further technical development and ongoing career progression opportunities.

The Role:

  • Working within a close-knit electronics hardware team
  • Designing new products and satellite communication technology
  • Expert training on FPGA and RF Design to enhance your technical progression
  • 37 hours per week, flexible working, from a Heysham based office

  • Electronics or Mechatronics Engineer
  • Knowledge of Digital Circuit Design
  • Comfortable leading technical projects
