We are seeking an Chartered Process Engineer to join a growing engineering team, supporting a range of exciting new projects in the fine chemicals sector.

The role is based in Manchester working on a hybrid basis; typically 3 days in the office and 2 days from home.

This is a hands-on chemical engineer / process engineer role requiring strong technical capability, cross-disciplinary collaboration, and the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.

Key Requirements for the Chemical Engineer / Process Engineer:



Chartered Engineer status

*

10+ years of relevant experience in chemical process design

*

Background in the fine chemical industrial sector, including:

*

PFD/PID development

*

Process descriptions & control philosophies

*

Process equipment datasheets

*

Process schedules for pipelines, valves, instruments, etc.

*

Process sizing calculations

*

HAZOP attendance

*

Collaborative approach, working closely with piping & layout, electrical, and control & instrumentation teams

*

Strong written and verbal communication skills for interaction with clients and multidisciplinary teams

*

Willingness to travel within the UK and occasionally overseas for client visits and site surveys (no extended stays away from home)

*

Ability to manage multiple projects ranging from large greenfield/brownfield developments to smaller modifications and upgrades
