The Role

A leading design and build provider in the water sector is seeking an experienced Senior Process Engineer to join its engineering team. Reporting to the Regional Discipline Lead – Process, you will deliver high-quality engineering design services for turnkey contracts. Your work will ensure that designs are cost-effective, safe, and sustainable, from initial concept through to detailed design, construction, and commissioning.

Key Responsibilities
Develop design layouts and prepare detailed design documents.
Produce process flow diagrams, mass balances, and P&IDs.
Ensure designs meet technical, safety, and cost standards.
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders.
Update and maintain departmental design procedures.
Mentor and support junior engineers.
Maintain project records and documentation.
Ensure designs consider environmental and health & safety requirements. Requirements
Degree (or HND) in Chemical, Process, or related Engineering.
Chartered or working towards accreditation (e.g., ICE, IMechE).
Experience in designing water and sewage treatment projects.
Proficiency in design software and strong computer literacy.
Ability to produce economic plant layouts and technical proposals.
Excellent communication skills.
Valid driving licence and willingness to travel. What’s In It For You
