Do you have a background in an electrical or possibly mechanical based environment, possibly in a Sales Support, Internal Sales or Estimator role? Maybe youre looking to make that switch from the shopfloor into a more customer facing role? If so, this could be the job for you.

This European-wide company has a well established site in Walkden that is now is growing through a tremendous expansion plan and offers tremendous career prospects for the future. The role comes with a salary of up to £35,000 and a great benefits package.

What will you be doing as a Sales Estimator?
Working in a busy office, you will be co-ordinating quotes for a wide range of customers. Duties will include:

Liaising with customers looking for a quote to create modular systems
Using customer images or descriptions to create a basic design in CAD
Inputting information into the system to generate a quote based on individual parts needed, labour and delivery
Submitting completed quotes to customers
Assisting customers with technical enquiries and making any amendments to the design or quote as required
Recording quotes on the system as well s generating paper based quotes
All of these quotes are recorded on the online system and also in a manual paper based format
Working to deadlines to complete the quote
We would LOVE to hear from you if you have the following skills and experience:

You will have experience within an Electrical or Mechanical field, possibly electrical engineering
You may have experience working for an electrical distributor or manufacturer in an Internal Sales or Estimator role or possibly as a project engineer, estimator or electrical fitter and looking to develop your career into an office based role
IT literate
Experience using CAD packages would be beneficial but not essential
Excellent communication skills
A quick learner

A salary of £32,000 to £35,000, depending on experience
