Due to continued growth, this market leading manufacturer of advanced metal precision components to multiple manufacturing sectors has a new vacancy for a Quality Assurance Engineer to join the team. You will be responsible for assuring the company's quality system operates to BS EN ISO 9001 and quality assurance documentation and system.

Commutable from: Droitwich, Bromsgrove, Redditch. Alcester, Evesham

Salary: £ 308,000 - £ 40,000 p.a. + benefits

The Role

Undertake internal audits, develop corrective actions and report on KPIs to ensure on time delivery
Identify root cause and implement robust corrective actions, 8D and root cause analysis
Develop and maintain Quality Management Systems.
Utilise lean tools and methodologies.
Work cross functionally to help drive a consistent and effective approach to new product introduction.
Uphold processes that assure the effective health, safety and environmental best practices as defined by the business management system.
Work along side process engineering to develop best practice and support production.
Lead investigations into quality-related issues, determining defects' root causes and implementing preventive measures to eradicate identified problems

The Person

Demonstrable experience in a manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of ISO9001 for assurance and audit.
Experience of developing and maintaining Quality Management Systems.
Excellent understanding of quality assurance management principles and practice.
Experience compiling production part approval processes (PPAP)
Understanding of inspection and testing
