Process Engineer / Continuous Improvement Engineer / Manufacturing Engineer / Production Engineer required to join a manufacturer automotive electronics, components and PCB (Printed circuit boards) in Birmingham.

The successful Process Engineer will work across traditional automotive processes and new EV technologies, optimising manufacturing operations and leading the introduction of new equipment and process improvements.

Youll have a background in process engineering and continuous improvement within a manufacturing environment, preferably with knowledge of printed circuit board (PCB), electronics, batch production, chemical handling, or automotive manufacturing.

  • £40,000 £50,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and optimise manufacturing processes from concept to certification
  • Continuous improvement and lean manufacturing using Six Sigma and quality improvement tools
  • Assess production processes, conduct measurements, and interpret data to identify improvement opportunities
  • Design, run, test, and upgrade mechanical and automated systems, including chemical and batch operations
