I’m currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established client within the semiconductor manufacturing industry, who is looking to bring a Process Engineer into their growing engineering team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced engineer with a background in silicon wafer fabrication or similar cleanroom-based manufacturing, looking to work on innovative technologies in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for sustaining and improving process performance, driving quality, and supporting the transfer of new technologies into production.

🔍 Key Responsibilities for the Process Engineer job:

  • Develop, sustain, and optimise wafer fabrication processes

  • Improve process capability, yield, and quality using techniques like SPC, DOE, and 6 Sigma

  • Create and maintain documentation and manufacturing procedures

  • Support NPI and the transition of new processes into high-volume production

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver continuous improvement

  • Provide technical input on metrology tools, equipment upgrades, and fault diagnostics

    âś… Skill & Experience required for the Process Engineer job:

  • Degree-qualified in Engineering or a relevant Science discipline

  • Previous experience as a Process Engineer or Technician within semiconductor or precision manufacturing

  • Strong problem-solving skills and a hands-on mindset

  • Proficient in Excel/data analysis and comfortable working with technical documentation

  • Able to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team
