Are you passionate about driving process innovation and developing cutting-edge products? Join Saint-Gobain Glass, a global leader in sustainable and high-performance building materials, as a Process and Product Development Engineer at our state-of-the-art manufacturing plant in Eggborough.

In this role, you'll play a key part in supporting new process technologies and equipment, as well as the development of advanced coated products. Your work will directly contribute to delivering high-quality solutions that meet and exceed customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide day-to-day process expertise and technical support to production teams to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Coordinate product adjustments and manage process start-ups to maintain high-quality output.
Use statistical analysis to quantify performance data and drive production optimisation.
Respond to production-related process issues using World Class Manufacturing (WCM) methodologies.
Lead and support process improvements and new product development projects, including internal and external trials.
Manage trials on our Coater line and at customer sites to evaluate new products and technologies.
Communicate clearly and effectively with production teams, managers, and engineers regarding product quality and process parameters.What We're Looking For:

A degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related field.
Previous experience in a manufacturing or process engineering environment is desirable, but not essential graduates with strong technical aptitude will also be considered.
Strong problem-solving skills and a data-driven approach to continuous improvement.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and lead when required.
Knowledge of coating processes, statistical tools, or WCM methodologies would be an advantage.Who we are:
