We are now looking for a Package Competence Lead Engineer to join our growing team.

What our Package Competence Lead Engineer will do

The Package Competence Engineer is responsible for providing knowledge and expertise in semiconductor packaging and assembly to enhance the performance of Power MOSFETs.

This role also requires the capability to lead a cross functional team in the implementation of new package design projects. This role may require the capability to manage direct reports.

What you will do



Subject matter expert on semiconductor packaging and assembly

Lead cross-functional teams in package-related projects

*

Formulate package strategy and roadmap

*

Develop extensive links with assembly site engineers and managers in order to support development and business objectives

*

Support Product Lines and other groups on package-related concerns

*

Generation and management of design rules, new design concepts, and patent ideas

*

Gaining significant knowledge beyond packaging and assembly competencies

What you will need

*

A degree in Engineering, Physics, or a relevant discipline

*

Extensive knowledge of power semiconductor device packages, materials, equipment, and assembly processes from front-end to back-end

*

Elevated skills in using AutoCAD, simulation tools (FEA), data analysis, presentations and technical report writing

*

A strong grasp of physical properties, chemical properties, and behaviour of materials used in semiconductor packaging

*

A proven track record in planning, organising, and controlling complex high-profile projects while adhering to plans and budgets and reporting on progress

*

Effective people skills and the ability to communicate across geographical and cultural boundaries

*

Strong familiarity with reliability tests, failure analysis, and Design of Experiments

*

An established network with suppliers and subcontractor assembly
