Offline Programmer | Poole | £48,000 DOE

If you thrive on technical precision, problem-solving, and optimising CNC processes, this role is for you.  We’re looking for an experienced Offline Programmer to play a key role in high-spec aerospace and defence manufacturing.  You’ll be responsible for programming 3, 4, and 5-axis CNC machines, improving manufacturing efficiency, and ensuring components meet the strictest industry standards.

As Offline Programmer, your responsibilities will include:

CNC Programming ~ Create and optimise CNC programs for multi-axis machines using CAD/CAM software
Process Engineering ~ Define tooling, work-holding, and inspection plans to ensure seamless production
Efficiency & Quality ~ Drive process improvements, reduce cycle times, and maintain AS9100 standards
Root Cause Analysis ~ Troubleshoot issues, prevent reoccurrence and enhance product yield
Collaboration ~ Work closely with production, quality, and NPI teams to refine manufacturing methods
As Offline Programmer, your skills and experience will include:

Proven experience with 3, 4, and 5-axis machining in precision engineering
Strong understanding of materials, tooling strategies, and lean manufacturing
A structured, methodical approach with a focus on accuracy and consistency
A background in aerospace, defence, or complex manufacturing environments
