Role: Manufacturing Excellence Manager

Location: Bridgend, Wales (with 10% travel to Manchester & Europe)

Work Schedule: 5 days on-site

Industry: FMCG Manufacturing

Salary: £65,000 - £70,000 + bonus + benefits

Shirley Parsons is thrilled to partner with a leading Sanitary manufacturer to recruit a Manufacturing Excellence Manager for their Bridgend site. This pivotal role involves introducing innovative tools, enhancing technical and methodological capabilities, and driving manufacturing excellence across the mills. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in enabling cost savings and optimising mill operations.

Manufacturing Excellence Manager Responsibilities:

Mill organizational development: support mills in introduction of Green Org, incl. technical, methodical and leadership qualification

Support a collaborative style within ManEx Team and with the mills, achieving a high level of engagement

Introduction of company standards to develop the mill into efficiency and technology leadership, improving the overall efficiency and profitability

Support development and conduct implementation of Technical Training Packages

Support continuous operational cost reduction activities to continuously improve the mills competitiveness, e.g. efficiency impr.

Support networking with OPM, Process Engineers and group functions to foster learning and development

Manufacturing Excellence Manager Responsibilities:

FMCG Industry Experience:Significant experience in the FMCG sector, particularly in roles similar to this one.

Manufacturing Problem-Solving:Expertise in applying manufacturing problem-solving techniques.

Leadership:Proven leadership experience with a track record of success.

Cost Efficiency & Root Cause Analysis:Demonstrated ability to implement cost-saving measures and conduct thorough root cause analysis.
