Manufacturing Engineer – Hi-Tech Manufacturing – Torbay – LM1215

Salary / benefits: c£35-45k + Package

Job Term: Permanent / Full Time / Onsite

Job Outline:

My client, who is a leading Hi-Tech manufacturing company, is now looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to join their growing team.

Based at my clients Hi-Tech manufacturing facility in Torbay, you will take responsibility for improving and defining new manufacturing processes, as well as providing engineering support with NPI projects.

Along with this, you will also manage cost improvement projects and provide technical support to manufacturing.

On a daily basis you will support the technical issue escalation process from manufacturing, along with providing the appropriate level of ‘on hand’ shop floor support in each production area.

You will drive the implementation and maintenance of LEAN and CI practices across the organisation as well as driving disruptive cost reduction plans into existing processes.

Along with supporting the training of new and existing processes and operators, you will also have a strong focus on driving a culture of Manufacturing Engineering excellence.

Qualifications:

As the successful Manufacturing Engineer, you should hold a minimum of a Degree / HND in Engineering or similar.

Experience:

You should have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar engineering or manufacturing role. Experience in manufacturing is essential.
