Job Opportunity: Electrical Project Engineer
Location: Manchester
Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum + package
 
Are you an experienced Electrical Project Engineer seeking an exciting opportunity in the water sector? Our client, a leading MEICA Engineering contractor, is searching for motivated professionals to join their team and work on impactful water projects.
 
This role focuses on project delivery, collaboration with procurement, stakeholders, and subcontractors, and packaging works efficiently. While some design experience is beneficial for engaging with design partners, this position does not involve detailed design work.

Key Responsibilities
·Manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring timelines, safety, and budgets are met.
·Collaborate with clients to meet or exceed KPIs within budget constraints.
·Conduct site visits and attend project progress meetings.
·Prepare project estimates, quotations, and contract documentation.
·Oversee site safety, health, and environmental issues.
·Coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams.
·Procure plant, materials, and specialist subcontractors.
·Lead testing, commissioning, and client training.
·Compile final project documentation, including "As-built" drawings and test sheets.
·Manage financial aspects, including profit/loss, price variations, and final accounts.

About You
To excel in this role, you should have:
·Proven experience in project delivery and collaboration with procurement and stakeholders.
·Familiarity with packaging works and liaising with subcontractors.
·Basic design knowledge to effectively communicate with design partners.
·A background in water sector projects is a significant advantage.
