    Do you have a background as an electrical design / electrical project engineer / electrical engineering and enjoy taking electrical engineering projects from start to finish?

    Your background as an Electrical Project Engineer:

  • Previous experience of working in an Electrical Project Engineer, Electrical Design Engineer or similar electrical engineering focused position.

  • Any experience gained within the following types of industries would be beneficial – industrial engineering, rail, energy, marine, oil and gas, process engineering, power generation or similar.

  • Be able to use AutoCAD 2D to produce schematics and electrical equipment layouts.

  • You will hold a recognised electrical engineering qualified e.g., apprenticeship, HNC, HND, degree etc..

  • Be able to work collaboratively with production teams and customers from concept to commissioning to successfully deliver projects.

    Electrical Project Engineer Responsibilities:

  • You will take a customer project from the initial specification stage, through to a fully developed electrical design, provide production support, and customer acceptance tests (no travel required) where necessary.

  • Produce schematics and electrical equipment layouts using AutoCAD 2D.

  • Produce cable calculations using specific software tools (training can be provided on this).

  • You will work closely and collaboratively with production and customers throughout projects from concept to commissioning.
