Contract SMT Process Engineer - up to £60ph, outside IR35

Our client is a busy electronics manufacturing business looking for an experienced Surface Mount / SMT Process Engineer to join their team for an initial 6 month contract. This is an urgent requirement, with interviews happening quickly.

Location: Onsite in Burgess Hill (option to work hours in 4 days)

Contract length: 6 month initial contract, extendable or contract-to-perm

Experienced required:

A Process Engineer with strong SMT / Surface Mount expertise, from design through to production
Hands-on with PCBA assembly, reflow ovens, and wave soldering
Experienced with pick & place machines, screen printers, and reflow profiling
A Process Engineer confident in sourcing, commissioning, and improving manufacturing equipment
A Process Engineer who can hit the ground running and support existing processes in a busy environment
