Carbon60 is seeking a talented Process Engineer to join their client based in Broughton. As a Process Engineer, you will play a crucial role in translating design intent into technical instructions and manufacturing data for aircraft production.

Key Responsibilities:

- Compile and control technical instructions and Manufacturing Engineering data for aircraft detail manufacture, assembly, test, and certification
- Implement best practice methods, tools, and processes to meet current and future business requirements
- Deliver detailed work preparation definition, including routings, BOMs, SOIs, and STV calculations
- Ensure all work and documentation meet departmental procedural and regulatory requirements
- Project manage detail manufacture, assembly, test, and certification methods, tools, and process improvements
- Evaluate manufacturing process capacity and recommend design changes as needed
- Provide electrical/mechanical shopfloor support to operations, supply chain, and Final Assembly Lines

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles
- Proficiency in using current business management tools, ideally SAP
- Ability to work from first principles in manufacturing disciplines and make informed business decisions
- Working knowledge of Manufacturing Engineering, Design, and other Business Information Systems
- Experienced knowledge of aircraft production, engineering methods, and procedures
- Understanding of cross-functional relationships and interactions
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong leadership skills and self-motivation
